Qualification: Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Genetics- preferably on Corn
Experience: 5 years research experience working with private/public sector on Corn hybrid research, multilocation evaluation of hybrids, data analysis, report preparations and recommendations for different markets.
Knowledge: Possess excellent knowledge of different markets requirements, product profile for different markets including disease-insect resistance/tolerance
Language: Good knowledge of English

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Commercial Manager to join our team! As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for all commercial activities and management of our commercial team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing Cash Inflows
- Variance Analysis of Budgeted vs Actual Costs.
- Ensuring continuous process improvements on Receivables.
- Continuous engagement with Sales team and procurement team
- Managing commercial compliances with respect to payment policies, credit norms, review of payment terms and Dealer collection terms.
- Management of working capital and having an acumen to link collection with payments.
- Understanding of LC terms and conditions.
- ability to understand the commercial contracts and can extract the required information and details from it and get it executed.
- Monthly MIS reports.

Experience: More than 5 years research experience working with private sector on parent seed maintenance and production of hybrid rice. Possess excellent ability to network with seed production organizers and farmers. Experience with report preparations and recommendations for parent seed maintenance and production.

Qualification: Ph.D. in Molecular Biology/Plant Breeding, Genetics and Biotechnology
Experience: 2-5 years research experience working with private/public sector on hybrid rice research including marker assisted introgression of genes/QTLs to improve maintainer and restorer lines for biotic, abiotic stresses, nutrition and grain quality including low GI.
Knowledge: Possess excellent knowledge of different molecular biology technologies, marker assisted breeding, genomic selection to improve parental lines of the hybrid programs. Prediction breeding in hybrid, modelling to assess performance of cross combinations and familiarity with hybrid research in the public and private sector in Asia and Africa will be an added advantage.
