Delta Agrigenetics Pvt. Ltd. is one of the premier research and development based seed companies in the country with a strong Research and Development base for developing climate smart, high quality hybrid and inbred varieties of different crops. The company saga began in 2004 under the direction and control of Mr. Prasad Karumanchi, a visionary and pro-farmer thinker. At present it is one of India’s fastest growing seed companies with a wide portfolio, large network of research partners, distributors and dealers and a very wide customer base spanning the country.

The Company with decades of experience in crop improvement, development and production of high quality seed of major agricultural crops is backed by a very strong in-house Research and Development duly recognized by the Department of Science and Technology (DSIR), Govt. of India from 2008 onwards.

Delta Agrigenetics Pvt. Ltd. has 18 plus years of rich experience in Indian seed industry. It has many high quality hybrids and varieties developed across field crops. Delta always aims to develop superior hybrids and inbred varieties of the field crops that are high yielding and are resilient under varying agro climatic conditions. As part of the growth strategy, Delta has been investing consistently in Research and Development. Realizing the immense potential of Biotechnology in fostering and fortifying the traditional breeding, the Company has formulated integrated programme on molecular breeding. The Biotechnology lab is State-of-the-Art facility, equipped with sophisticated equipment’s and manned by highly qualified scientists. Delta has also invested in developing uniform phenotyping facilities for characterization of the germplasm and research products for yield, grain quality, insect- diseases resistance as well as abiotic stresses at its research station, Hyderabad and across its operational areas.

Our relentless pursuit towards seed innovation has helped farmer’s yields enormously and earned us tremendous goodwill amongst farmers and distributors. The Company has developed a committed grower network across 12 different agro-climatic zones of India.

Delta works towards having a diverse and de-risked portfolio which not only caters to all the key crop segments but also mitigates the risk of unanticipated shifts in climate, soil- water- nutrient status for development of a sustainable Agri food system at landscape level. The Company’s premier hybrids in Paddy, maize, Mustard, are in the forefront of seed market and in the farmers’ fields. New crop improvement strategies are put in place that will enable us for further increase in R&D productivity, while continuing to excel at the invention and development of the new products. To its credit, Company has developed good number of Paddy hybrids suitable for cultivation in different regions of India in various segments. Our products are gaining rapid acceptance among farmers of India and beyond.

Keeping in view with farmer’s needs and consumer preference, research efforts are focused in designing and developing suitable products.
